We had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Berwick Lodge for a late Valentine's Day. The staff were very courteous and the food was delicious. It was quite loud in the dining room but the atmosphere was good. We joked that your horseradish sauce should come with a health warning as its very strong but good to keep your nose clear The chocolate tart was delicious

I took my 87yr old mother for a birthday dinner on a Tuesday night. We both had the tasting menu and my mum had the matching wines. The staff were fabulous, helpful with attention to detail. The food was exquisit. We felt welcomed, cared for and the willing victims of luxury! We highly recommend thos restaurant.

This was the first time I had visited Berwick Lodge with my friend. Another friend had recommended this place to me. We spent Saturday afternoon at Berwick Lodge having afternoon tea and it was wonderful. Beautiful surroundings inside and out of the building. Staff service was excellent and I will be definitely be coming to Berwick Lodge again. Thank you to all the staff for lovely time.

Been twice now, first time round to celebrate my sister's 85th b'day, had Afternoon Tea, really good! Second time was a Xmas Gift Voucher from our Granddaughter for Lunch/Dinner/Afternoon tea, we opted for lunch. Excellent, and service wonderful

We had our wedding here in October 2025 and can't thank the team enough! Every single person on staff was incredibly supportive and helpful every step of the way. Huge thanks to Jess, our wedding coordinator, who looked after us so well on the lead up to the day and on the day itself. Food was unreal, setup was smooth and flawless, nothing was too much trouble. We had the best day, our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful everything was and how well the day went! Thank you so, so much.

The location is lovely, the restaurant decor very nice. The afternoon tea was a bit of a disappointment for the price (£36 and £46 with bubbles) The sandwiches were super basic (more meat on a butchers pencil) and very plain. Scones were superb. Other bits were ok- but just a bit meh. I love a good tea- and have had teas ranging from local cafes up to the Ritz but this afternoon tea just didn’t cut it for price and venue. Sadly this was a Christmas present for my mum and she was also underwhelmed. The staff were all very nice. Just a bit of a shame.

A visit for Afternoon Tea did not disappoint. Set in beautifully landscaped gardens, you really feel like you have stepped back in time. Service was excellent and attentive with food being prepared to the highest standard. Have been before and will return again.

My wife and I had a birthday dinner here to celebrate her 40th. I was looking for somewhere a little more upmarket to have an excuse to dress up a bit without it going 'strict formal', and this place fit the bill perfectly. The place is beautiful, the restaurant is quite elegant and very well decorated. The food was spot on and there was a choice of between a tasting menu/a la carte menu and a brasserie menu (of which these two could be mixed if you fancied one of something and another of something else) giving a good amount of options. The food was well cooked, delicious and good portion size. There were also lovely little touches for her birthday, such as all the staff we interacted with wishing her a happy birthday but also the chef putting a 'happy birthday' message on her dessert. We did not feel rushed at all, and we were welcomed and waited on really well and the staff were lovely. Overall I would recommend dining here, it was a nice switch from the usual places Bristol has to offer.
